Geographical features:Poocholamad is a small village located at the hearts of Kannamangalam Panchayath. The land is uneven hills. It is famous for its Chola (Pool). Its name derived from this Chola, this village is north to Vengara, a city in Malappuram Dist. where the Vengara Co-operative College, Al-ihsan English Medium School are situating. To the North Achanambalam, south Vengara, east Cheroor, west Kunnumpuram. This village is 3 KM away from Vengara through Vettuthodu.People:Most of the people are Muslims and the families like Kappan, Poovil are residing in this village.
